I went to a concert at church last night (Karen Peck & New River), and it was wonderful! The group sang a song that I do not ever remember hearing, called Four Days Late. It is on YouTube,

The song talked about Lazarus and how he was dying. Mary and Martha wanted Jesus to come right away and heal him before he died, but Lazarus died. Jesus showed up four days after Lazarus died, four days late. Jesus went to see the tomb, and after the tomb was opened, He called to Lazarus to come out, and Lazarus came out to see Jesus! Jesus was four days late and still on time!
Many times, we go through drama, trauma, and valleys in our lives and wonder where God is and why He is not helping us. God’s timing is always perfect even when we think he is four days late. He sees everything around the event from a different perspective, and He is growing our faith in the process.
We have to put our trust and faith in Him and remember when we cannot see the Hand of God, we must trust His Heart! God is always looking out for us, growing us, and leading us in His way in His time.

*Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
