My parents have been gone from this world for almost 3 years.  Mom died in November 2020, from pancreatic cancer, and Daddy died in January 2021, exactly 2 months later, from dementia and a weak heart.  My Dad said he did not want to live without Mom.  They were married for 62 years.  He said he was ready to go home and be with her.

I searched the scriptures for comfort during this horrible loss and painful time in my life, and it came to me that if 1000 days on earth is like 1 day in heaven, that it was only seconds before Daddy was with Mom again.  They would not have even noticed the absence of the other one!

*But do not forget this one thing, dear friends:  With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

I was blessed with Christian parents, and as Christians, they will now have a perfect, painless heavenly body that is able to rejoice and worship the Lord every day!

They have been Liberated from this world and from their pain ridden bodies and moved on to their heavenly bodies.

I am working on reprogramming my brain to stop thinking of the term death for Christians and to think of Christians as being Liberated from this world and this life!

Those of us who are Christians will all see each other again after we have been liberated from this world and this life!
